The Kingdom Of Osmax formed after the great leader, Max I, completely united the tribes Osmax (tribe), Deno, and Arain. The Kingdom was primarily located in Central/Southern Umon, with the capital Opam, built alongside the ocean. The Osmax contiuned to expand throughout the next Era, quickly devouring most of Umon. The Osmax's ability to develop tatics on a case to case basis, and quickly supply armies helped their expansion through the undeveloped tribes in the area.

History

The Osmax-Arain Succession War

The Osmax Kingdom united under one banner after two tribes eventually swore their allegiance to the Osmax, one through force, and another through war. The war that ensured among the three tribes, became known as the Osmax-Arain Succesion War which would determine which nation was best to rule over the surrounding peoples. The war lasted seven years, totaling over twenty thousand deaths. The Arain suffered horribly, with nearly every 5/6 men killed in the war.

When young Chief Maximin decided to unite the tribes, he quickly began gathering his warriors, creating officers out of the best of them. After gathering his forces and waiting for a strategical advantage, The Osmax-Arain Succesion War began in early November, B1E-7 when Maximin and a force of over five hundred warriors stormed the city of Elardo. The Deno quickly surrendered to the Osmax, supplementing their resources to the Osmax.

The Arain, a tribe stronger than the Osmax, decided to not meet the forces of the Osmax, and now Deno head-on. Using Guerrilla Warfare tactics, a tactic where you attack an enemy and then quickly retreat, the Arain dragged the war out seven years. Pillaging small villages, slaughtering men and women, chaining the children to slavery, Chief Hilthrope abandoned his city of Hildago, deciding that to end the war, he would have to attack the capital of the Osmax, Opam. On the cool morning of December 19, B1E-1, Hiltrope quickly advanced to what he suspected as the undefended city of the Osmax, but quickly found out he was wrong. An Arain Officer, by the name of Penani Selvxius relayed the attack to the lead General of the Osmax, Timburs Derangous. Hilthrope reportly charged down a hill towards the city, when he became encircled by the entire army of the Osmax. Attempting to escape, Chief Hilthrope's forces were crushed by Maximin's men. Maximin's armies met Hilthrope on all flanks, eventually killing Hilthrope himself. The battle later became known as the 1st Battle Of Opam. After this battle, Maximin entered Hildago completely undefended and effectively ended the war.

The war totaled around twenty thousand deaths in total, reducing the population of the Osmax to around 16,000. Maximin after his coronation ceremony later apologized for these horrible losses, including those suffered by the Arain and Deno. And it wasn't until nearly two decades later that the populations of the tribes, now the Kingdom Of Osmax, had recovered. This war later became widely known as the first documented war and would be remembered by Generals and Leaders to call upon in other times of war. This war paved way to the world we know now.

Tribes United

The Unification of the Tribes began days after Maximin had taken Hildago. He quickly began converting the Deno and Arain to reflect Osmax values, adopting some of their own also. Maximin then fourteen days later, was crowned first King Of The Osmax Kingdom at a ceremony including surrounding him in swords, speaking hymns, and being bathed in the holiest water that could be found. This later became the Embalming Coronation Ceremony tradition thousands of kings and emperors would later adopt. Maximin in honor of becoming a King, renamed himself to Max, later becoming Max I. Max then gave a speech in regarding the losses sustained in the war in order to further unite the bitter tribes. In remembrance of the unification, Max I built the Monument of Solitude, an ancient stone pillar that he personally carved into a beautiful mural that described not only the beauty of finally all being under one King, but the horrors that had followed before it. This mural later had many many leaders pray to it asking for guidance.

It took decades, but the tribes eventually settled into the Osmax Culture, (Osmanian), we see today. The Osmax people are often see as resilient, hard working, and willing to protect what they believe is rightfully theirs.

The Osmax-Fowatan War

Osmax-Fowatan War throughout the years 37 - 43 First Era

After long years of relative peace and expansion, King Fentalius Of The Fowatan declared war on the Osmax sometime in the year 37 First Era. Enraged by the aggressive expansion of the Osmax, the raged leader of the Fowatan had already raised and trained an army of nearly four thousand. King Max II Of The Osmax attempted to reason with the King through diplomacy, but his attempts were quickly cut off. In response to the declaration of war, Max formed an army of nearly seven thousand in defense. Although the numbers staggered over the Fowatans, their supplies were small, and training none. Leading the armies across the lowlands of Osmax territory, Fentalius quickly swept rage and terror across villages conquering large swathes of land within years. At the Battle Of Kivon King Max II died. His body was never found, but later in the years, a scholar watching the battle noted "King Max stood surrounded by Fowatan Warriors. His guard had been annihilated, leaving only himself. And when demanded to surrender, he uttered: The only man I'll surrender to, is Bemous himself." Bemous being the head god of the Osmanian Religion. But in the Spring of 41, a new leader rose. Max III, also known as Max The Great is widely known as one of the best Maxs to ever reign. He ascended to the throne in the middle of a grueling war that had already lasted 4 years and was on the losing end of it. The Osmax armies had already been crushed, except the small dispatches of ones to the North, and the new General Of Osmax, General Panerius Links, was relatively inexperienced and proved to be invaluable. Max aged only 22, and mostly uneducated, had rivals already forming within the days of the death of Max II. Within his first month of rule, Max already had three assassination attempts and one coup. All proved to be unsuccessful as the King became increasingly paranoid. But all of this changed after Max declared mobile conscription, taking men of any age that were physically able to fight. He raised an army of over 10,000 thousand against the horde of Fowatan Warriors whose numbers are still disputed to this day. But this army still had to be proven, and march towards the ranks that gathered in front of the city, Apar. In the Spring of 42 First Era, more than a year after taking rule, and with nearly no more land recaptured, only more lost, including the fallen city of Kivon where his father had died, Great King Max III showed what he had. After five months of relentlessly training his army as villages fell, and women and children slaughtered, the Battle Of Apar started. With the odds heavily against the Osmax, some say outnumbered 3:1, the soon to be legendary king rallied his army, proclaiming that this battle would be the same to the 1st Battle Of Opam, and that whoever won would win the war. The Fowatan armies were battered from years of war but experienced also. While the fresh Osmax armies could barely imagine the horrors of war, but, they had one thing the Fowatans didn't. Hope, and determination. The Osmax won the battle against the odds, with the terrain, the morale, and overall spirit advantage. The battle only lasted two hours, but nine thousand had died. Panerius recalled after the incredible Osmax victory, "You could barley see the ground, only bodies stacked upon each other like logs could be seen." The Battle created the Legend Of Max III, for it wasnt the army that only won the battle, it was all because of the 22-year-old King who could barley count to one hundred.

Geography

The Geography of the Kingdom generally was thought to be clear fields, and often few mountains and hills. But in Northern parts of the country, throughout its harsh winters travel often became impossible. In the South and Midlands the fertile soil allowed the Osmax to become a very agricultural nation, growing enough food for all of its inhabitants and exporting the rest to neighboring countries. But, with the rise of giant large populations came much waste. Many rivers of the Osmax became dumps, such as the Tingla River which became so polluted, it exhibited mutated species. Many grasslands became overgrazed, and even more often became infertile after long periods of similar crop growth destroyed the nitrogen rich soil. This process is called
