Liberos Geography

Liberos is a planet-sized around 1.25 times the mass of Earth, measuring approx. 246 million square miles (~637 Km). Filled with Freshwater Oceans, except for the Sea Of Dead Men, Liberos is plentiful in life-sized with five continents known as Bytos, Alathor, Angor, and Islands Of Oceania. Liberos is approximately 5 billion years old, forming according to the nebular hypothesis. Orbiting a very similar star to Earth, Liberos is one of the very few planets in the universe with the capability to support life. Life first erupted 3.75 billion years ago, slowly evolving into what humans are today. Evolving from "primates" over an Era known as the Pre-Osmax Era. humans first originated in Forests of Demise before spreading out all over the world over the course of millenniums. The first functioning civilization, (ex. not a tribe) to form was the Kingdom Of Osmax located in Southern Central Umon, on the continent of Bytos.

Biomes

Temperate Forest

Temperate Forests are common on Liberos, perhaps the most common biome it is filled with young forests and freshly grown grass. It is the most popular biome to build in, and the easiest to live in. Although it is extremely popular, it still doesn't have the best fertile soil or rugged terrain that could provide protection. These forests can mostly be found in the continents Alathor, Bytos, and the Islands Of Oceania. Temperate Forests usually result in either a grassland being tamed by the forest, the effects of a forest fire, and generally the 1st step in becoming a Deciduous Forest.

Deciduous Forest

Deciduous Forests are the next most common biome on Liberos, being the older more wise version of a Temperate Forest. These forests can be built-in but are usually harvested for their large quantities of wood. They can be difficult to travel through due to their thickness and normally form near other exotic biomes that Temperate Forests. These forests are wetter and colder than Temperate Forests, but not as much so as a Taiga Biome. They are most popular on the continents Alathor, Bytos, and Angor especially. These forests can be used as defensive barriers against enemies for their thickness and difficulty to navigate through making it easy to plan ambushes on its few roads.

Rainforest/Tropical

Rainforests are a common sight on the shores of Liberos, but ever rarely seen far inland. These rainforests are extremely hard to colonize and oftentimes are simply left to themselves. These biomes are wet, and very humid, but have extremely fertile soil and allow a wide variety of crops to grow in them. These biomes are also harvested for their vast amounts of trees, some of the largest in the world. The biodiversity in rainforests is the highest among all biomes by a wide margin, and many people note the jungle is "wild" and "deadly."

Taiga

The Taiga biome is one of the coldest biomes, with temperatures ranging in the negatives during Winter but are also notable for their hot and murky summers. Cities are often built in these biomes, for they offer good protection, and good resources but their frigid environmental factors never really allow cities to grow large. These biomes are always located near areas of Tundra, and generally are almost inhabitable living off of the land. Taiga Forests also are referred to as "Boreal Forests."

Semi-Arid

Semi-Arid biomes are dry areas of land, generally, grasslands that have small amounts of rainwater. They are settled by nomadic groups often. These regions most of the time surround Arid regions and deserts. These biomes hold small villages, and not many cities but do widely have good resources.

Arid

Arid biomes are the driest biomes, normally located in rough terrain and have extremely high temperatures. These regions are inhabitable, although their resource contents are higher than some biomes. This makes these regions suitable for mining, and sometimes nations are centered around this mining industry for its precious gems and minerals. Arid biomes are almost always deserts, except for some regions that are simply extremely dry grasslands.

Tundra

Tundra biomes are dry and extremely cold and have rough terrain usually filled with snow. Nations avoid these areas due to their little resource per work output. The only people that ever explore these regions are normally explorers, and few times trappers and hunters. Theses areas are some of the last parts of Liberos colonized, and only very rarely are worth the effort.

There are a total of 14 Regions, with Nimtas as the largest. and Faltos the smallest. The coldest region on average is Susland, while the hottest average is Henor.

Continents

There are a total of four continents.

Alathor

Regions Of Alathor: Umon, Avallone, Henor, Gandal, and Sirion

The Continent Of Alathor holds the Regions: Umon, Avallone, Henor, Gandal, and Sirion. It was the first continent to support formal nations, later becoming known as Old Alathor for its deep history. Several nations formed soon to counter the evitable oncoming invasions of Osmax warriors, and these nations dramatically shifted the entire history of Liberos.

The Kingdom Of Osmax formed and began the First Era. After years of long war amongst tribes, with thousands dead, Max I united the three tribes, Osmax (tribe), Deno, and Arain. Desperate to unite the tribes under his rule, Max declared war upon the tribe of Arain starting the Osmax-Arain Succesion War which lasted seven years. The Osmax later went to rule the next Era and a half before they ultimately fell.

Angor

Regions of Angor: Nimtas

The Continent of Angor holds the Regions: Nimtas. This region historically has been pacifists, and neutrals although many wars have still erupted through the years.

Humans wouldn't settle into the great continent of Angor until around the years of B1E-1000. The last continent on the globe to have human interaction, it took even larger for any nation to set their flag upon its ground. It wasn't until the year 281 First Era that the Kingdom Of Narthern fully united under one banner, electing a King to serve for life. The region consists mostly of tundra relativly flat terrian, but has extremely harsh winters. Far into its mountains, Nimtas actually has the richest deposits of metals ahead of Bytos, but this infomation wasnt publicly knonw until centuries later.

Bytos

Regions of Bytos: Omis, Valmor, Peltas and Susland.

The Continent of Bytos holds the regions: Omis, Valmor, Peltas, and Susland. These regions throughout his have been known as bionitc cults, crazy religons, and very dangrous warlord nations.

The Continent formed after a giant tectonic shift among the three plates that intersect it billions of years ago. The terrain is considered rugged, close only to the Mountains of Disum. In the extremely tall mountains of Peltas, centuries of fighting have occurred over the rich ores such as copper, silver, gold, and even gemstones too that naturally occur. Human occupation of the continent begun around the year B1E-10,000. Although not much if any at all is known about these primitive people, it wouldn't be until around fifty years after the beginning of the First Era that civilizations would form.

Islands Of Oceania

Regions of Islands Of Oceania: Nova-Moesia, Lothian, Avon, and Faltos

The Continent of The Islands Of Oceania holds the two Regions, Nova-Moesia, Lothian, Avon, and Nova-Moesia. The only Continent entirely comprised of Islands, Nova-Moesia became known as The Islands Of Bloody Gold. Nova-Moesia was settled in 73 First Age, while Lothian took up till 256 First Age. Avon wasnt setteled until around 120 First Age, but Faltos has roots all the way to 30 First Age. These regions soon made the nations inside of them become rich for their good trade routes, and several nations took advantage of this as wars thrived constantly upon them.

The Kingdom Of Osmax settled onto the Island Of Moesia, creating small towns and large open countryside communities. Rich trade ensured amongst the two until the two-way rebellion known as the Rebellion Of Nova and Moese. This rebellion lasting seventeen years completely booted off the Osmax separating into the two nations that would later fight for ages in history creating the worse rivalry ever seen.
