Written from his private journal in 137 First Era:
The pain that has gripped me with silence. Unbroken, unwavering, relentless against all else. Written with fallacy that it can be cured, that it can be fixed, that it can be slashed away. Enough! With a dagger made from my own hands she tore it from me. I see nothing on the horizon of a bright sun; only of darkness, only of foreboding reborn pain. I walk through the streets harboring this pain, harboring this hidden arrow shot clean through my heart. I will show her! She will see, they all will see.
The next day:
I begin my trek up north tomorrow. There, I will find if I am worthy to claim the throne, claim all of Mani. My father once told me: 'make yourself strong, but most importantly, adaptable. if you are to win, learn how.' I'm still not sure what he meant, even though he wrote it out so clearly. I think hes telling me to see what I'm made of. Nothing is holding me back now. Pain has become my new fuel that will carry me into the next plain of eternal existence. A lifetime of generations from now they will speak of me, they will know who Huntir Harkon Halon II is. They will fear and respect me like Bemous himself. They will. I swear it.
