The Tempari Seni known simply as the Mani Army was the military fighting force for the Kingdom Of Mani (92 First Era - ), for nearly (insert years). It was a deadly fighting force that utilized its skill in archers and light infantry. The Army began when Huntir I created them to deal with barbarians attacking distant villages in 92 First Era. Since then, the army has become a sophisticated fighting force, most famously the Lopar Devils, renowned for their amazing skill and discipline in battle.
Historical Overview
The Beginnings (Pre 130)
After multiple villages near the outskirts of Kingdom were completely slaughtered in 92 First Era, Huntir I instituted the Tempari Seni, or commonly known as the Mani Army. Huntir began the Army under the direction originally under himself, but after his health began to decline, he officially assigned the duty to the Mosa Of Mani. Huntir did not know the size of the force needed to protect the Kingdom, but began at 1,000 warriors strong, organized into one Eoch. The Army wasn't very well equipped Pre 130 because of the little funding from the central government, allowing the soldiers to have to steal from the local villages. For this, they were hated and booed even after they saved villages from complete destruction. It wasn't until Maki Of The Mani that the Army underwent some much needed changes.

Organization
Ba - 5 Ah's
A Ba was the smallest unit of the Mani Army. Comprised of only 5 men, the Ba's primary purpose was to direct efficient organization to activities outside of warfare: setting up camp, hunting, etc. The age, experience, and character of a Baso, the commander of a Ba, varied. Often, it was a experienced warrior who had served on previous campaigns and was acquainted with life in the military. Ba's were never referred to in combat, with Baso's an administrative rank at best.
Ca - 20 Ah's
Ca's represented the smallest possible fighting force the Mani could wield. Comprised of 4 Ba's, a Ca often times was the garrison of small villages out in the frontier. A Ca, although the smallest fighting force, was by no means large enough to be efficiently organized tactically. Many a times the Commander of the Ca, a Caso would be a individual hardened in war and experience but lacking in high intellect.
Da - 100 Ah's
Da's hold 100 warriors all commanded under a Daso. Da's were the normal garrison of towns and small cities, protecting trade, preserving the peace, and helping with government actions. Daso's were the beginning of strategic minds, often young and brave, Dasos used their numbered forces to organize some skirmish's or small engagements that would better prepare them for battle in the higher ranks, such as the infamous Easo, commander of a Eoch.
Eoch- 1,000 Ah's
Eoch's, comprised of a millennia of men, were the most well rounded force and primary unit in the Kingdom Of Mani. Used in small battles, usually unrecorded for their size, Eochs were commanded by an Easo, the hardest officer rank to achieve in comparison to the last. Harden veterans or lucky tacticians, Easos led their Eochs as they wished. Many Eochs competed with others for preformance and valor, whole other Eochs tried to parlay into a political career. An Eoch had its own supply center, complete war room, and blacksmith among many other things. Eoch's could also be the garrison to a large city.
Mo - 4,000 Ah's
Assembled at 4,000 strong, Mo's were large combat units used in giant cities including Pomarus. Commanded by a Moso, Mo's typically were battle units assigned to attack or defend enemy armies. A Mo had the capabilities of 4 Lo's in addition to sieging equipment in the later First Era and a calvary unit to protect the Commanders Guard.
Lo - 8,000 to 32,000 Ah's
Lo's were the biggest defined unit in the Mani Army, estimating sometimes of as little of 8,000 all the way to 32,000. The size variation usually depended on the time period and generally availablity of Officers at the time. Lo's were commanded by the most decorated and strategic combat veterans, known as Loso's. A Loso, unlike other high ranking generals in other nations, could not be attained by a royal figure or important status easily. They could only be earned through hard decades of work and blood. The Mani Army considered it deeply disrespectful not only to those there but those who went before if they were to be led by those of improper placement. However, the King and Mosa were exception to this.
Tempari - Upwards of 200,000 Ah's
Known as the collective whole of an Army, usually commanded by a High Loso or the Mosa himself, the Tempari was a more symbolic reference than actual military term. Usually used in reference to military reform or political showcases, the term Tempari was often ignored in military use due to the vague size of its force. There is one definition of the Tempari that is universally recognized, which is: there can never be more than one Tempari. Otherwise, the term Tempari varies among people.
